My name is Joshua Geer. I’m a London-based writer, filmmaker, and amateur film photographer.
I was born in the coastal town of Hastings. After studying at Queen Mary University of London and the University of Cambridge, I now work as a financial journalist.
Alongside this, I make films and write about walking, running, and cycling, often in natural and semi-wild places. Most of my work is made on foot or by bike. I’m mainly interested in the human relationship to the natural world, and in telling people’s stories within it, often drawing on my journalistic background.
My main project at the moment is a film called Leaves of London.
